SEN ADEOLA YAYI EMBARKS ON MASSIVE TRIPLE EMPOWERMENT OF CONSTITUENT

Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West) is set to embark on a massive empowerment of his constituents in Ogun West in a similar fashion as he did in Lagos West two years ago which recently re-trended on a viral video.

Beginning from tomorrow at Ilaro, headquarters of Ogun West Senatorial District, the Senator will give scholarship and bursary awards to about 1600 tertiary education undergraduates in various disciplines in a programme tagged “First Yayi Scholars” with sums ranging from N150,000 to N200,000 per undergraduates.

On Sunday, the Senator will also be facilitating cash grants to 5000 market women and men across the 5 LGAs of the senatorial district at the rate of 1000 per LGA in a programme tagged “Oloja Yayi” which is targeted at freeing the traders from loan sharks that prey on them.

The grand finale of the massive programme of empowering constituents take place on Monday during his First Town Hall Meeting to report back on his representation in less than a year as the senator representing Ogun West. During the meeting about 12,000 constituents trained in various skills and vocations will be empowered with equipment requisite for the practice of their training and cash start up grants to launch them into various areas of self- employment and income generating ventures.

The Senator will further report on his various infrastructural projects completed and ongoing in the area of road construction, classrooms block construction, health care facilities construction, market infrastructures, provision of water and electricity as well as infrastructure to boost the security architecture of the senatorial district.
