Deputy Speaker, Kalu congratulates President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Iwuanyanwu at 81



Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has congratulated the President -General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu on his 81st birthday.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu offered all doxology to God for giving Chief Iwuanyanwu the grace of longevity.

He described the octogenarian as an elder-statesman who has contributed immensely to the socio-economic development of Nigeria.

The deputy speaker recalled that Iwuanyanwu through his many business establishments provided employments  for many Nigerians.

The Deputy Speaker also recognized the patriotic gestures of Chief Iwuanyanwu which included the Iwuanyanwu National Ambulance that catered for accident victims all over Nigeria, also hailing the role the Publisher of Champion Newspapers played in sports development in the country.

Kalu who represents Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State also lauded the leadership style of Chief Iwuanyanwu at Ohanaeze Ndigbo aimed at uniting and promoting the sociopolitical wellbeing of the people of the south east.

Rejoicing with Chief Iwuanyanwu and his family on this milestone, the deputy speaker prayed God to bless him with many more years in good health.
