Emily Murphy, the administrator of the US General Services Administration (GSA), an independent agency of the government, informed Biden in a letter that he can now access millions of dollars in federal funds and other resources to begin his transition to power. Nevertheless, in the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same.” The tweet came weeks after the November 3 presidential election that saw Democratic Candidate, Joe Biden emerging winner. Trump disputes the election results citing voter fraud and irregularities.

N30 trillion Ways and Means: Akpabio inaugurates Ad-hoc Committee, insists on impartiality. President of the Senate, Godswill Obot Akpabio, on Monday, inaugurated the Ad-hoc Committee on Ways and Means. The Committee is charged with investigating the sum of N30 trillion which was released by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN to fund projects in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
