The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) led by it's chairman Sabiyyi who has assured the Acting Clerk to the National Assembly, Arc. Ojo Olatunde of a harmonious working relationship for the progress of NASS activities.

The association recalled its Cordia relationship with the Acting Clerk before his appointment.
PASAN chairman, Comrade Sunday Sabiyyi made the disclosure when he received an award presented to him by the Youth Initiative for Peace and Good Governance on Tuesday.

Sabiyyi reiterated that what happened with the immediate past CNA, will not be repeated, saying “because we have a Cordia relationship even before now with the present CNA”.

He noted that PASAN will consult with the leadership of NASS, the commission and the management, adding that the National Assembly is the eye of the nation where laws are made.

“What happened with the past Clerk to the National Assembly will not happen again, because we have a cordia relationship even before now with the present CNA.

“We will work with the leadership of the National Assembly, comprising the Senate President, the Speaker, the commission and the management, we are going to work together and have a good relationship.

“We will consult when the need arises. We believe Nigeria today, will change from the National Assembly, because we know National Assembly is the eye of the nation, where laws are made.

“PASAN will give full support so that we will have a good environment. I believe my exco will give that support too, so that we can move forward.

“We believe the welfare of staff will change, we believe even the structure of National Assembly will change” Sabiyyi added.

He however tasked the youths to always choose the path of peace, reconciliation and integrity.

Sabiyyi cited the words of John F. Kennedy, “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country”.

“The youths of Nigeria, we are strong, we are not lazy. We have not lost focus. There is no trade that the Nigerian youth would venture into that would not succeed. Go to foreign countries, the best Doctors are Nigerians” Sabiyyi added.
